To rebel is right, to disobey is a duty, to act is necessary!
Couple of links
July 15th, 2006
KVR is the best web resource I know for information on Computer Music Hardware, Software, and Plugins. There’s an Encyclopedia of software, links to all the good free stuff, reviews on the stuff you have to pay for, massive forum blah blah blah
Metafilter is a community forum. More intelligent than fark, less geeky than slashdot. The front page consists of links to “the best of the web” on any subject from breaking news and art to Portobello Mushrooms (one of the funniest threads I’ve ever read), and a discussion thread plus more.
95BFM is the Auckland University Student Radio Station, Radio B. This station is largely responsible for getting me into interesting music. They used to broadcast for 2-3 hours a day on AM when I was at school. They now run 24/7 on FM and webcast. They play just about anything, have specialist shows, and the time and season difference listening in London can make it surreal. I’m listening to some quality Drum and Bass right now…

The Life Cycle
July 10th, 2006
I think the life cycle is all backwards
You should start out dead and get it out of the way.
Then, you wake up in an old age home feeling better every day.
You get kicked out for being too healthy; go collect your pension,
then when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day.
You work 40 years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement.
You drink alcohol, you party, you’re generally promiscuous and you
get ready for High School.
You go to primary school, you become a kid , you play, you have no
responsibilities, you become a baby, and then…
You spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in luxury, in spa-like
conditions; central heating, room service on tap, larger quarters every
day, and then, you finish off as an orgasm.
I rest my case.
